I am a creative with fingers in many pies, so to speak — and those include music, writing and design. Music, however, stands at the centre of everything else, so much so that when I’m not making it, I’m writing about it.

Inspired by the likes of The RZA, Q-Tip and J.Dilla. Beat making started as a hobby; writing & bars spitting came along as blessings from the universe, with lyrical influence by Killah Priest, Common, Black Thought, Lauryn Hill, and MC Lyte, to name a few.

Also known as Booby Trapz (as the other half of the rap duo ‘The Detonatoz’ alongside C4) with joints like ‘Verbal Prolifics’ and ‘Incursion’.

Not necessarily front-facing professionally, my music is more focused on media sync — scoring visuals, brands and storytelling.

This site is my music catalog and also a medium for self-expression. I muse about themes and ideas (cuts) from inside and outside of the studio, from the screen to Broadway.
